I am happy that Biden and the current government are starting to address the issue of too many illegal immigrants crossing the border into the USA. I don’t care who solves the problem but major change needs to happen.

The Remain in Mexico Policy is a reasonable policy and a step towards solving immigration. This executive order should be re-implemented immediately.

Biden has two choices to stop illegal immigration under his presidency.

1. Re-implement Trump's executive orders (that he canceled immediately after taking office). Those measures are proven. They actually stop illegal immigration and will solve our problem without having to rely on congress to pass new laws.

2. Tell congress he will support HR2 policy and rally the country around a bipartisan change in our laws so something gets passed.

We are at a point where Biden must LEAD on this issue. Blaming republicans doesn't solve the problem, and actually makes it worse because they will now dig their heels in even more for being attacked on a problem they did not create.

Republicans would support the HR2 bill and it should either replace the recent bill proposed by the senate, or key elements from HR2 should be added to the senate bill so we can get something in place to stop illegal immigration ASAP.

Most Republicans are afraid of getting beat down by Trump if they support a border bill.
